A Little About Armsmen Leinad
Leinad had a natural talent for swordsmanship and quickly became the most sought-after mercenary, particularly among nobles. A high noble in the Mooneyes Kingdom paid a large amount in advance to have the 2nd Imperial Prince assassinated.
A small group of mercenaries, including Leinad, took on the mission. Leinad’s companions were caught before they made it to the Prince’s palace. Leinad made it to Prince Cassian’s room but ran into Twila. After an epic fight, Leinad was taken down and taken in for an attempted assassination of a member of the Imperial family.
Prince Cassian was impressed by how well he fought against Twila and offered to pardon him and his companions for their crime if they told him who commissioned them and if they could pull enough mercenaries together to make a small army to help the Imperial Knightage take down an organization of human traffickers.
Leinad was able to pull together a sizable group, and they were the leading force who took down the most prominent human trafficking organization in the Empire.
As a reward, the Emperor offered a title, land, and a place in the Imperial Knightage for him and his companions. Leinad accepted a small piece of land outside the capital to recognize Leinad’s companions as a Mercenary Guild, so there’s a centralized location for people to send mission requests and a place for them to sleep, when needed.
History
Like every Mercenary King, Armsmen Leinad has a tragic background.
Leinad was a commoner who lived in a small village that human traffickers raided. Thanks to his father, Leinad managed to escape. Being a child with no guidance or resources, he wandered around begging for food.
After a few months of fending for himself, a mercenary took him in and helped him learn swordsmanship and silent attacks. Before anyone knew it, Leinad was going on missions on his own and earning his keep with the small group of mercenaries raising him.
Current Event
Leinad got his Mercenary Guild set up, and mission requests are steadily coming in. Upon the Emperor’s request, Leinad attended a couple of social events. After 2 requests from the Emperor, Leinad started attending social events on his own accord. He seems particularly friendly with Madam Emberkeeper.
