Dr. Viola’s grandfather was a doctor for the royal family, and her grandmother was a botanist. They taught her all the basics of their trade and left her their entire library and research when they passed away. As a result, Dr. Viola became interested in the role of consumables in the human body. She founded an apothecary that nobles from all around the Empire travel to for medications.   

The Imperial family regularly seeks out Dr. Viola for medication and will sometimes summon her to the Imperial palace to tend to the Empress or Emperor. The Emperor hates Dr. Viola’s terrible bedside manners, but the Empress loves it!

The Dreamshade family has a rich history. For many generations, Dreamshades have become renowned in their trade. Viola’s grandfather was a doctor for the royal family, and her grandmother was a botanist. She developed a special interest in consumables (drugs/medication). The Royal family and Imperial family tend to do what they can to keep a positive relationship with the Dreamshade family. Despite the excellent resource, other nobles hesitate to approach them because they tend to have a high opinion of themselves, making it very difficult to work with them.

Dr. Viola recently developed an elixir to detox people who overdose on most drugs or medications. She recently received permission to have illegal drugs in her possession because she’s researching them for the possibility of turning them into medication. 

Making friends is not something Dr. Viola knows how to do, but recently she has found herself enjoying the company of a handful of her peers, so social events are no longer as grueling as they had been for her whole life.
