Imperial Crown Prince
Cassian Brimstone
Coronation
The Imperial capital buzzed with an energy that was both celebratory and laced with a palpable
tension. All roads led to the coronation of Imperial Crown Prince Cassian, a week-long spectacle
designed to solidify his claim to the throne. Despite the ever-present whispers of dissent and the
looming threat of usurpation, the city was overflowing with nobles, dignitaries, and merchants, all
eager to witness the dawn of a new era…or so it seemed.
The first day unfolded with the pomp and circumstance befitting the Imperial family. Grand parades,
lavish feasts, and dazzling displays of magic filled the hours. Yet, behind the glittering facade,
Cassian remained vigilant, his keen eyes missing nothing. He knew that amidst the revelry, his
enemies were lurking, plotting to steal what was rightfully his.

The Discovery
The second day began as the first, with more feasts and displays of power. But as the sun reached its
zenith, a discovery was made that shattered the fragile peace. Within a hidden compartment in a
supposedly ‘loyal’ lord’s chambers, a message was found – definitive proof of a meticulously planned
coup scheduled for the fourth day of the coronation. The message contained not only the details of
the coup but also a list: the names of the eight most influential people in the Empire, along with their
planned assassination dates, all set to occur during the chaos of the power grab.

Panic threatened to engulf the Crown Prince, but he quelled it with a strength born of years of political
maneuvering. He knew that the slightest misstep could plunge the Empire into civil war. Swiftly, he
summoned his most trusted aide, a woman named Twila, known for her sharp intellect and
unwavering loyalty.
To the Safe House

“Twila,” Cassian said, his voice low and urgent. “I need you to gather those on this list. Immediately.
Take them to the old manor outside the city, the one we used during the rebellion. I want them safe
and under your protection. Trust no one else.”
Without a word of hesitation, Twila accepted her charge. She understood the gravity of the situation,
the delicate balance between preserving the peace and dismantling the conspiracy. She vanished
into the throngs of celebrating citizens, a shadow moving against the light, determined to safeguard
the future of the Empire, one influential figure at a time.
